Student identity cards
All enrolled students must have a current UTS student identity card.
Your student identity card:
- must be carried at all times whilst on University premises
- may be required to be produced on demand by an employee of the University
- will carry the travel concession logo for eligible (domestic full-time) students
- must be presented:
- when borrowing books from the University Library
- when accessing the computer labs
- to gain entry to examination rooms
As part of your initial enrollment all current award students, excluding non-award, exchange and study abroad, should receive a perpetual student identity card which is valid for the term of your study at UTS.
If you have misplaced your student identity card you must apply for a replacement, at the earliest practicable opportunity. An administrative charge is payable.
You are obliged to return your student identity card to the University if you:
- take a leave of absence,
- cease to attend, or
- withdraw from your UTS studies.
