Academic advisers provide advice to assist students who are on:
- academic caution
- early intervention
You must complete the Record of Academic Advice (Academic Caution/Early Intervention) form and take it with you when you see an academic adviser.

UTS Business School students must make their appointment as soon as possible as this is on a first come first serve basis.
- The last day to submit the Record of Academic Advice (Academic Caution/Early Intervention) form is on 8 March 2013 Friday.
- No appointments will be made after 8 March 2013 Friday.
- Academic Adviser appointments can only be made based on the schedule below.
- Should you fail to attend the scheduled appointment, you run the risk of not getting another appointment as they are subject to availability. Late requests will not be accepted.
- All appointments are to be held at the Haymarket Campus except for students enrolled in Leisure, Events and Tourism degrees and majors.
To make an appointment, please submit an enquiry via My Student Portal on Ask UTS with with your preferred appointment time and date. Once you have logged in:
- select the "Enquiry Category" as "Exams and Assessments"
- then mark the subject as "Appointment: Academic Caution/Early Intervention Autumn 2013".
You will receive email confirmation of your appointment.
If you do not list your preferred appointment time and date you will be placed in the next available appointment for your discipline group. If your preferred appointment has been allocated, you will be allocated to the next available appointment.
