Domestic full fee paying (undergraduate)

In accordance with the government's commitment to phase out domestic full fee paying undergraduate places, UTS will not be making undergraduate full-fee offers in 2009.

However as this is a phased process, the following student cohorts will continue to occupy undergraduate full fee places in 2009:

  • Continuing students who are currently enrolled on a full fee-paying basis in a course commenced before 1 January 2009 (including course transfers within UTS)
  • International students who become a domestic student at any point during their course
  • Students who were offered a full fee-paying place in 2008, accepted that offer, and deferred their enrolment until 2009

Any student who is enrolled in an undergraduate full fee paying place and who wishes to transfer to a Commonwealth Supported place must apply through the standard admission channels (i.e. UAC).

In the following exceptional circumstances universities are able to continue to offer undergraduate full-fee paying places:

  • Where CSP students have consumed all their Student Learning Entitlement
  • Where students have advised UTS in writing that they do not wish to be Commonwealth Supported

Commonwealth assistance

As an undergraduate student enrolled in a full fee paying place you may be eligible to access FEE-HELP to defer your payment.

If you have previously deferred your fees through FEE-HELP, and you have not changed your course, you will be invoiced for each teaching period, and given the option to either pay upfront or defer your course fees.
