International student fee extension application
A fee payment extension is not automatic and is not confirmed until you receive a formal approval email to your UTS email account. If you have been granted a payment extension this does not automatically allow you to obtain documentation from the university.
International student tuition fee extensions:
- Will be granted until Friday 9th March 2012 without penalty.
- Extensions beyond 9th March 2012, will incur a $100 payment extension fee.
- No extensions will be granted past 30th March 2012.
Payment not made by 30th March 2012, except in exceptional circumstances, will result in your enrolment being cancelled.
UTS is required by law to inform the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) of the cancellation of your enrolment.
In exceptional circumstances, payment may be accepted after 30th March 2012 but an additional $250 late payment penalty will be charged and you must obtain prior written approval.
Methods
All payment methods are listed on the 'How to Pay' attachment received with your invoice.
It is not possible to make payment using:
- wire or telegraphic transfer
The invoice does not have the information required for payment via a telegraphic transfer of funds and if attempted the funds will not reach UTS.
-
through any of the UTS student centres on campus
