Subject enrolment
To complete a subject at UTS you must be formally enrolled in that subject.
Your subject enrolment
Before you start your subject enrolment you should consult the UTS: Handbook, the version for the year that you started your course, for your course completion requirements.
At the beginning of each calendar year, or in the first teaching period that you are enrolled, you should complete your subject enrolment for the full calendar year, unless you are expecting to complete your degree during the year. You will be able to make changes to your subject enrolment prior to the commencement of each teaching period.
New students
As a new local student, you are encouraged to self manage your subject enrolment online using My Student Admin and afterwards attend Orientation sessions as an introduction to UTS. Online enrolment is the easiest way to enrol into subjects and select classes without attending an enrolment session. All you need is a computer with internet access and we will provide you with step by step enrolment instructions.
Alternatively, on campus enrolment sessions are available to all students.
You will need to complete an online Start@UTS session to indicate whether you are going to enrol online or attend an enrolment session.
Continuing students
As a continuing student, you should self manage your enrolment via My Student Admin. By the end of each calendar year, you should have completed your subject enrolment for the following full calendar year (Autumn and Spring semester) unless you are expecting to complete your degree during that year. Failure to enrol on time, may incur a late enrolment fee of AUD$250.
Subject activities
Following subject enrolment, you must register for subject activities.
Checking your subject enrolment
You can view your current subject enrolment using My Student Admin. It is your responsibility to ensure that your formal subject enrolment details are correct.
