Approval of leave of absence
As a result of the approval of your leave of absence application:
Your tuition fees liability will be adjusted to take account of your leave of absence provided your application was made on or before the census date of the relevant teaching period.
Any credit balance of relevant tuition fees previously paid will be returned to you in accordance with the UTS policy for fee refunds.
- If necessary, notification of your leave of absence will be given to the:
- Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR),
- Department of Immigration and Citizenships (DIAC), and
- Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
